Throughout the ages in the history of the entire world, human beings have been known for wearing all manner of watches meant to boost their fashion make up. Right from the ancient period, there have been traces of human beings wearing the watches as they desire to appear fashionable. In the ancient Egyptian Empire, the fashion watch trend was awesome and the story is very important in the history of fashion watch development.

The historical facts of the fashion watch trend in Ancient Egypt
- In the ancient Egypt as far back as 3500 BC, the earliest time keeper that was used for people’s fashionable wears was known as the shadow watch or “gnomon”. The shadow watch was in the form of a vertical stick that cast shadows. People used this piece of material to measure the time as they go about on their fashionable wears. The Egyptians themselves at that time were known to be very gorgeous in their various fashion wears. They were very cute and outlandish in their fashion wears.
- Another striking development in the production of fashion watches in Egypt came through the ingenuity of the famous Egyptian astronomer named Berossus. This man developed the first hemispherical sundial used in measuring the time. It was an ancient method of measuring hours in the absence of the sunlight.
